Springs?

I've got a set of Crane Gold 1.6 RR's gathering dust. Do I need springs too? This is a stock internal motor with 135k miles. I eventually want to do cam, but not right now. Can I get by with stock springs? Or should I just go ahead and change them? And what spring should I get?

Changing the springs isn't *required* but is desired

If you have the means and funds to change them, I'd do it. But, there are several who don't and just use the stock springs.

I am running Crane Gold 1.6 roller rockers in my supercharged 94Z with no problems. I only take it up to about 6100 rpm though.

Which ones should I get? Preferably something from Summit.

Do I need anything else?

TIA

If you plan on upgrading the cam, go with the springs you will eventually need. If not, then a set of LT4 valve springs are cheap and should work for your application.
