I lowered my 1.7 in the rear and combined with my 12 bolt Moser and Spohn tq arm its hits the top section of the tq arm where it bolts on to the 12 bolt. There is quite a dent there now. What should I do besides raising the car back up? Can I cut out that section? Think it will be safe for the unframe?

 

Don't cut that out. That your floor broard it's hitting. Mine did the same. You need to get some spacer for the joice bump stops that are attacted to the body behind your rear tires. They stop the rearend from traveling to far. SLP has them for $25.

 

I took a rosebud,heated that area and gently,working in small areas at a time,bent the metal with a hammer to clear.Otherwise you will have to raise it back up.Don't forget to remove the carpet and rear seat.I gave it about 3 inches up movement on the arm.
