speedo error?

speedo error?
Ever since the cam install the speedo has been off.... it only reads half of what I'm doing on the street, so If I'm doing 50mph it reads only 25mph. Anyone have a clue as to whats going on?
I also got to romp on the car a bit today and all that I can say is WOW!!! The car just accelerates REALLY quickly and smoothly.
Current combination is:
- Lloyd Elliot heads -
CC 986 springs,
Ti retainers,
2.0/1.56 Ferra Valves,
CC Xtreme 236/242 on a 110lsa
CC 1.6 Pro Magnum rockers
CC chromemoly push rods
GM guide plates
CC Comp "R" lifters (Which btw are a bitch to adjust...and I still have to dial it in)
Holley 58mm TB
Jet Hot long tubes
2.5ihch off road y-pipe
Flowmaster exhaust.
DMH E-cutout
While driving around town I saw a newer mustang zipping in and out of traffic behind me, so I open the e-cutout and drop it into second when he pulled up next to me..... well needless to say he backed off...it was just a stocker with exhaust. The passenger asked me if the car had a stroker motor in it. Not yet at least....
The car is in dire need of gears and another tune since the addition of heads. A few minor things and the car should be 100%.
On a side note - since the addition of the cam and heads to the car and with its current exhaust set up. It's ridiculously LOUD at idle it shakes stuff inside the house.

P.S. I'm also noticing that my gas mileage sucks now. What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting with heads and cam?

I am glad that you are happy with the set up. More tuning and you will be REAL HAPPY.
You might get more responses in the computer tuning section. I am sure that someone in there has experienced this problem and can help you.

Thanks for the info Lloyd! Also I just wanted to publicly thank Lloyd for answering NUMEROUS emails even though I bought my heads second hand from another board member. He was under no obligation to spend time answering my emails but he did it anyways!
