Well i tryed pulling my motor from the top WITHOUT disconnecting any of the accessories, big mistake. So far i ruined the EGR, some sensor in the back of the motor that looks like a oil pressure sending unit(?), and put a dent in the valve cover(who knows what else) all to findout that the cherry picker wont go any higher due to no hyd fluid. So im just going to take a saws all and cut everything off the body thats in my way(its a parts car) Are their any good links on an easyer way to do this? And i was going to try and pull the transmission out with it, happy i didnt go that route! How do you guys do it? That damn engine bay is way to crammed!

 

I did it out the bottom with floor jacks and concrete blocks....much easier

 

Yup i with him threw the bottom is alot easier you dont need to worry about the space issues at all
