spark retard wot
 

i seem to peak sometimes at 9 or so degrees of spark retard only really at or near wot and higher rpms. just wondering the possibilities that would only cause this at wot. most likely ignition trouble?
i know if im pulling 9 degrees im loosing a bit of power.
also not all the time but sometimes when the car is really warm or its warm outside it will miss in higher rpm's too.
please help me out and give me some ideas of things i can check.

a common problem is the coil wire. I would first replace that or atleast pull it out and check it. My car was doing the same thing and i knew it was something in the ignition. Instead of replacing one thing at a time i put new plugs (bosch +4's, new wires accel hi temps, accel 300+ racing ignition with their coil) that eliminated my high rpm problem and the car started runing like a beast. I later installed a LT4 knock module as it is less sensitive to knock
