Spark Plugs

I have some NGK TR6's in my car right now that are still in there from when I had my nitrous on the car. I have some brand new platinum stock replacements sitting in my garage. I bought them before the nitrous and then just put the NGK's in. My question is, should I put the Platinum stock plugs back in or is it ok to run the NGK's which are still gapped at .035???

Re: Spark Plugs

I can't help you but I had the same mods you did, ran a 13.8. Got LT's and ORY I got a 13.4.

Re: Spark Plugs

You can keep running the TR6's. Since they're non-platinum, they'll only last around 30K miles though.

Re: Spark Plugs

I run TR6's in my N/A mild bolt-on car and it runs perfectly fine. I would just stay with them as long as you don't mind changing your plugs a little more often.

Re: Spark Plugs

You should be okay, and as stated above, you may requier more regular change intervals. I read an article though where some guys ran TR-6 plugs in a mild bolt-on naturally aspirated LS1 and picked up a few hp at the rear wheels, so take that for what it is worth.
