Spark plug wires through stock looms

I am having a little trouble finding a quality plug wire that will fit in the stock wire looms.I see that MSD has a set but these are larger than stock and not sure if they will fit.Is any one out there running these wires?I really want to avoid the generic parts store brands.

Have you looked into just doing the over the valve cover wires from elitesparkplugs.com? They will insure that you keep your sanity. If your already half crazy, then the wires from taylor fit the stock locations well. But after putting on the otvc wires from elite, i'll never do it any other way again!

Re: Spark plug wires through stock looms

I have the MSD's on my car. They won't work with most of the factory wire looms without some modifications. I ended up shaving a little plastic off the loom that loops around behind the PS and made use of some 8.5mm looms I already had. It is possible, you just have to rig a few things up here or there. Alot of times you will run into a case where the wire will somewhat fit into the loom but won't want to stay or you can't snap it shut due to the larger O.D. I used tie wraps to hold mine in some of the looms.
