Spark plug wire R&R, now it won't idle???
Ok, I finished up the cam swap and oil pan gasket change on my 92 vette tonight. After it was all back together it was running fine, but still had an oil leak. I thougyht i could see the leak onthe passenger side so I pulled the wires off the passenger side of the opti and took a closer look. I found the leak, and put the wires back on.
After that, it fires right up, but won't idle. If I rev it and gently let it down to idle, it will idle for about 30 seconds and then die.
IAC maybe?

Maybe you partially separated one of the wires from its boot when you pulled it off and now it can't flow enough voltage (if any at all) to fire the plug appropriately? Just an idea...
Measure the resistance/continuity on each of the plug wires and see if one of them stands out above the rest.
