Spark Plug wire question

I just order the centerbolt loom kit (Made for You brand) ..but was't thinking when I ordered wires. I got the MSD wires made for my car. Will these work, or do I need universals that Ill have to cut?

Re: Spark Plug wire question

If you are using a over the valve cover wire loom kit, you will need longer wires because the ones in the back have to stretch pretty far. Yes you can use a universal kit and cut your own, but www.elitesparkplugs.com already sells OTVC wire sets that are premade to work with the OTVC looms.

Re: Spark Plug wire question

If you are using the OVC set up you need to get the universal wires and cut them to fit. A custom set for your car will be too short. You can order any universal brand of 8mm wire with the 90 deg spark plug ends, just order the Taylor opti ends to crimp on the other end. You can get the whole kit from Thunder or...piece it together from Summit or Jegs, or...

...Like said above, you can go with the elitesparkplugs.com set up where all the work is done for you. Elite wasn't around when I did mine, and I don't know what brand of wire they use...
