Spark plug installation/OTVC tips
I just realized I don't have any anti-seize for my spark plugs. Is it ok to install plugs without anti-seize or will I encounter major problems when I try to remove them later. They're NGK irridiums, so I don't plan on removing them for a while.
Also, does anyone have any special tips for installing taylor OTVC wires on a car with emissions hookups. I'm going to tackle it tonight so any tips are appreciated.

I always use anti seize on my spark plugs, it'll only cost you a few bucks. I used this guide to install my OTVC wire set http://ken.lowrance.com/Projects/OVC...OVCInstall.htm

I have installed spark plugs on my car without antiseize no problem. But yet I take them out a lot more then you average person. If you plan on keeping them in there for a while I would go ahead and get some antiseize.

If it was up to me I'd get some...but my car isn't running right now and I don't have a way to get to the auto parts store for another few days. Basically the plug install will keep me from making much more progress on the car until I get to an auto parts store. I think I'm just going to install them dry.

Anti-seize, your call. If you don't they can and will get stuck stripping the plug holes. Then you'll be pulling heads off to have a helicoil installed.Something so simple can cost big dollars down the road.

+1. Anti-sieze means just what the title says. It keeps the plugs from siezing inside the heads. Do yourself a favor and install them with anti-sieze.
