Spark plug and header tube problem

The rear spark plug on drivers side is hitting the header primary tube. Cant get it to start. I dont want to unbolt header is there anyone who makes a short platinum plug that would work? Or any other ideas.

Accel makes a shorty plug, dont knwo what # youd be looking for and they are NOT platinums. Expect to pay about 3-6 bux a plug i know theyre not cheap.

Re: Spark plug and header tube problem

Pacesetter shorties. I just need one plug can I get that short accel plug from Summit? And does it have to be platinum like the other 7 are? Bosch platinum are the other 7.

Re: Spark plug and header tube problem

If it was me id return the bosch platinums (totally a garbage plug for a v-8) and get 8 shorty plugs from summit or jegs. Performance will be noticably better and itll be easier whne you have to do plugs later.

Re: Spark plug and header tube problem

Is there a reason your using plat. plugs? Your car will run just fine on a standard plug. Many board memebr do, the only draw back is you will change them more often. I wouldnt mix plugs just try to keep them all same.
