Spark plug diagnosis needed please.

As the title says... this is running without a tune and open headers in cold weather. Maybe about 45 minutes of driving, #3 wasn't even tightened down. My fault.

They look like they're fouled from being too rich. Assuming your air filter is ok, I would scan it to see what your O2's are doing. Check a few other things also. Like the output of the engine temperature sensor. If it is not showing the engine warming up, the PCm may think it's still cold and keep it in open loop. Remember the gage in the dash uses a different sensor than the PCM. This of course will richen the fuel input and may contribute to your rich condition.

Thanks for the input. I believe it may be f'ing up because of running no exhaust on the car. The O2 sensors are about 2" from the outside air, could be throwing it off?

Most definately. They will show way too much O2. Thus richen the mixture. And they are definately rich fouled.

Will do, I'm thinking about new O2 sensors, but I want to know if there is a way to test them or not before I drop $150.

Thanks again for the input.

Only with scanning equipment. While they are warm in closed loop mode.
