When I start the car, it backfires a bit and rides rough. After it warms up just a bit, it will smooth out and run better, and regain the lost lower RPM power, and will stop backfireing.
I got some coolant on the opti, and im pretty sure this sounds like opti....just making sure.

 

I've seen this posted before on previous posts.and the folks that got thier opti wet(if it wasn't fried),would drive the car for a long time,and the opti would dry out by itself.It may take 20 or 30 miles,but see if that helps.My02.
