sorry its another lt header question

sorry about another lt header question, just wondering if this is everything i need for the install. i'll be starting in about 1.5 weeks whenever i get out of school for my xmas break. already ordered jet hot lt headers w/out emission and this is the list i have so far of the things i need to order.

1) 2 new o2 sensors
2) 2 o2 sensor extensions 24" (are these too long, would the 12" work?)
3) dead soft aluminum header and collector gaskets
4) stage 8 locking header bolts (read about some people having some problems with these, anybody have any tips that would help make it easier?)
5) new plug wires and plugs (gonna go with the msd wires and ac delco platinum plugs)
6) egr and air block off plates (saw the website posted awhile back where you could order them from, anybody remember what it was?)
7) Y pipe (gonna try and have a custom one made for me at a local shop)

if anybody knows of anything else i need please let me know. thanks a lot for your help.

I tryed to get a local shop to make my y-pipe to...but ended up that they couldn't make what i wanted and just ordered a mufflex......looks like you might have everything...any reason why you are going with the AC Delco Platinum plugs....Just wondering...I always get NGK TR55's or TR6's.....Just up to you..The Stage 8 header bolts don't fit the Hooker LT's that well....I tryed some of these a while back and ended up having to use half of my header bolts that cam with the headers....the bolt holes are too close to the flanges and the clips that hold the stage 8 bolts don't fit...you could possibly cut down the ones that don't fit and that would work....totally up to you....

i may have to end up ordering a y pipe too, i haven't checked at any of the shops yet. no reason about the ac delco's actually i may end up ordering some ngk's a lot of people seem to like them. how are the bolts that come with the headers? how often do you have to go back and tighten them?

I have pics in my sig of my custom "y" pipe if you can call it that
The drivers side header feeds staight into the I pipe and the passenger side feeds into where the cat used to be. Im sure any decent muffler shop should be able to do it.....unless they dont want to cause of legal issues.

EDIT: the pics are in the cardomain site

FYI: On my 94Z, I used 12" extension for both sides and they were long enough.

is it safe to assume that over 90% of LT1's with headers need constant tightening?

Use the Breslin Splitlocks instead of the Stage 8 bolts. They are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

those Breslin Splitlocks look killer gonna use them on my next setup.

as far as tightening,i had to tighten my header bolts twice in the 1.5 years they were on. havent touched them in 6 montha and none were loose when i just pulled the headers off for the winter.
