Re: sooo WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kinda with camaro, sounds like a wiring issue with the altenator or it is bad which made the car run off the battery until you ran the battery dead. I'd verify the wiring to the alternator and if it's good, pull the altenator and take it to the autoparts store and get it tested.

Read.

If your security light is not on, it is not likely a VATS problem. VATS = Vehicle Anti-Theft System. VATS won't cause the engine to die while it is running.

Re: sooo WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

im not a mechanic or anything but if u took it for a car wash. then sometimes the wet your car from the bottom too and that might have gotten in the opti real bad and maybe thats why that happened. if its that u should wait some days for it to dry a bit and then try again but if it got real wet u might have to replace it . just my 2c..

The VATS is not designed to do that. Maybe a fluke, maybe a coincidence.

did your engine studder seemed like backfire or loap..and the rmp needle jump up and down from 2000 and below while crusing at 20 to 25 speeds..i stopped off to the side and let it idle and it seemed fine then i tried to take off again and it died..
