The DLC connector terminal "B" (diagnostic terminal, if equipped) is the second terminal from the right of the DLC connector's top row. The terminal is grounded by connecting it to terminal "A" (internal ECM/PCM/VCM ground), the terminal to the right of terminal "B" on the top row of the DLC connector"

if you go on to read on the next page it says that the ses light will flash to display the codes. i find it very interesting that the gm geniouses could miss that. oh well looks like ill just have to wait till monday to put a scanner on the car at school.
They even carried that into the 1995 manual. The manuals are kinda infamous for doing that at times. Well, from experience, we know that 1993 was the only year you could flash codes with the SES on an LT1 equipped f-body.

I think they list the thermostat housing screw torque in foot pounds instead of inch pounds too, at least that one is so bad common sense should allow the reader to see it would snap the screw.
You are FAR from the first to run into this, guys have had mechanics replace their pcm because of these manual errors.

Same thing that I read and then spent the $25 to buy a paperclip in a plastic shell that does nothing but run the fan. I have ordered the USB cable and will download some software to my laptop before I throw anymore money at this garage statue.
