hmm could just be a short then, critters have a way of doing things like that.. thats the only thing i can come up with, is that there is a short in a wire... thats the only thing that i can see would cause u to put the switch in one spot and it control another...

Re: Somethings wrong with my a/c...

well what i mean is, mice and other small things like to chew on wires and have some way of getting to places we normally wouldnt think is possible. not saying thats what it was lol, but u could try checking the back of the switch to make sure all the wires are good, if so, try ur best to trace them.. its possible that somewhere they chewd through the insulation and u have some wires touching....

Sounds like the HVAC flapper lost vacuum. There should be a line running from the intake manifold through the bulkhead connector to the dash area. Maybe there is a leak, or the actuator has failed.

Re: Somethings wrong with my a/c...

Have you tried looking at the 3 way vacuum connector in the engine bay, pass. side in front of the CPU. It's cheap plastic and breaks down over time. Mine had a hole in it, caused the air to only come out the def. vents. I put some RTV over the hole fixed like new.

I had this same problem and it turned out to be the 3 way vacuum connector. Just buy a new one. Simple, cheap, and easy fix.
