Something hitting

Hey guys I have a 93 Z28 and it hits a hard second. If not careful it will get a way from ya. So now when it hits second it sounds like something is coming thru the floor. His anyone else had this problem? I haven't been under it yet but was thanking it might be a Trailing arm bushing but I really don't know.

Re: Something hitting

Since you didn't post a sig. I assume you have an automatic trans. It sounds like your trans mount broke off.$25.00 at the dealer but get it installed at a garage for about $30.00 or so.Hope this helps.

Re: Something hitting

Sorry it is a automatic. I've owned the car a little over a year and back then it had a broken trans mount. So I have to say I over looked it this time. But yes it's broke again. Thanks.

Re: Something hitting

Might want to consider the Energy Suspension polyurethane trans mount - much stronger. But some automatic owners complain that it transmits excessive vibration and noise to the chassis.
