You can just feel that it doesnt have much torque.

 

Maybe checking out the cams specs in motor would verify your doubts.

 

This is always a good idea!

As long as you have humans touching things there are going to be mistakes. Well... even with computers... but you know what I mean. There's always the chance that someone grabbed the wrong cam or maybe they didn't make it to the right box. That's why the act of "degreeing" a cam is so important. Whether you can or can't change the phasing.... doesn't matter as long as you can check it. That's the important thing.

I need to check out the cam I was just hopping there was something that I could do before tearing into the motor. Does anyone thing that maybe I could have a bad torque converter, since it doesnt stall up or do you think that is just a result of having low torque?

 

Just my 2 cents, a converter can have an incredible affect on power transfer to the wheels. With the money that you have into your motor, that B&M would not be in my car.

 

I scheduled a dyno run at a different place just to get a second opinion before I start doing drastic things like tearing into the motor doing a converter swap.

 

Thats probably a good idea, It will at least verify if th eother dyno was screwed.
I am really surprised that the peak HP was at such a high RPM.
