Hey everyone, 2 start off im only 15 so i dont noe a heck of alot bout cars, just the basics.
it all started when me and my bro(he owns a 92 rs camaro) were driving my mums camaro(95 z28) and we were goin round 50km/ph (no idea in miles) and my bro changed the auto transmission from the 1st D to the 2nd D(cause we were racing a Wrx, which we killed) but then for some reason when we stopped at the lights and put it back into the First D and take off, the car didnt move till 2000rpms we both got a bit worried so we quickly dropped it off home before my mum knew we borrowed the car lol
i woke the next day and me and my mum needed to go somewhere and the car was fine, no probs, nuttin.
Then 2day my mum picked me up from skool and she told me that this was goin on, thats when i was really starting to worry.... can yous guys gimme a hand to figure out wat dis is...
also whats da difference wit the 3 D's and the 2 on the end of the transmission.

2 is 2nd gear... is keeps the car from going above 2nd gear into 3rd...


shifting it manually like that, not only being POINTLESS... it hurts your performance as well as the transmission...


tell her to check the transmission fluid... if its dark and not a clean red... the transmission needs to be rebuilt.... probably from doing things like manually shifting an automatic ...


at least get her to get the tranny built instead of getting rid of the car or just buying a new one from gm... both would just be stupid.... but comon from people who don't know much about their f-bodies
