Then I wouldnt have to fool with my opti. What dip**** designed this anyways

WTF does domestic violence have to do with it? Anyways I think they would sell quite a few of these. It would make the cars more reliable. Really thats the LT1s only weak point. Very very poorly designed ignition. They had coil packs on fwd cars in 1987, why wouldnt they put them on a new engine in 1993?

If you want to spend $600-$800 bucks you can get something better.

Here is one solution.

Personally, I have had my fill of opti bashing threads. IMO, they are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

Yeah I guess 120 is a lot better than 800. The original has lasted this long(130k). If the conversion got down around 400 total I would definately do it. Atleast I know someone makes a kit, thanks for the link.

shoebox, I think people bash them alot cuz they are responsible for alot of issues and are hard to swap. But we know everybody points at them all the time
