I am about to drive my car off a cliff! Took my car to the transmisson shop b/c it was slipping out of gear with the a/c on while cruising. They said since i had a missfire thats what could be causing it to slip. Spent 6 hours changing the opti to get the misfire gone. That did the trick on the miss. Took if back down to the shop they put a new torque converter on. Drove it away from the shop the car still does the same thing. The ABS INOP light is on now. What the hell is wrong with my car. I am going to college in a day and my car has to be perfect for the drive. I need to know whats wrong so this damn shop will stop bullSh*ting me. I will have to sell it if it dosent get fixed fast i mean real fast.

 

No answer for your tranny problem.
RE: ABS INOP, chances are, the rear brake light on the wing went out, have someone check it for you to see if the center brake light works. If not, change the bulb, that'll fix the ABS thing.
