Some reassuring words for lloyd
One of the local head porters checked out lloyds heads and agreed that they are a really nice set..
He's said that the work around the guides on the exhaust ports were really good.. i guess thats one of the hardest things to get down..
Cant wait to get them on...

We should just put a sticky that says Lloyds the man!
His work was top notch with my heads as well.
I have recommended him several times and I haven't talked to a nicer guy.
Brad
Edit: hey Bunker what kinda power are you making with that thing? You gotta be over 400 at the wheels...

Bob.. bobrocket on bad rap..
he's putting them on now..
I have always done all the work on that car but he can get it done 3 times as fast and probably better, plus he can tune it on the spot... anyways i can make more money by paying him to do it instead of taking time from my work.
I felt like a mother leaving her kid at the day care....
I was naming off every little thing, and bringing every single part he could possibly need.

I haven't dynoed yet, I just swapped out the xe236/242 cam & put the 847 in there, I sent the heads back to lloyd for some more work like bronze guides, comp 977 springs etc...

What did your old set up dyno? I guess it won't be a fair comparison if the heads receive addtional work. Good luck, I hope you gain some more ponies!
no the xe236/242 is not similar at all, its a faster ramp up rate cam which is reality makes it a smaller cam, it fell to its face at 6200rpm, the heads aren't receiving any additional work as far as porting goes just longevity like bronze guides/comp 977 springs thats it. The GM847 should rev to 7k rpm which would make more power up there.
