Solid roller opinion
I was wondering what you guys thought of a Forgedd 355,Solidroller cam with a 242/248-570/577@114 would be a good cam for this setup. Im going to run my own custom sheetmetal intake I made, Lt1 heads full P&P flow 270@575, and 36lbs injectors 58mm TB, long tubes , true duals, 6spd double roller chain,4:10 gears and yes I have tunercat. I think it should be pretty fun at the track and as a 1 day a week driver. I have all the goodies to go along with the solid roller also, I figured people would asked if I did. Let me know Thanks I was thinking a 114 to be able to get some street use out of it (hopefully)
Re: Solid roller opinion
I've seen a 230/240 ish SR on a 108LSA make 480rwhp so I never really see the point in a cam bigger than that unless you are going to run some RPM with the puppy.
Going with a wider LSA usually means that the duration is too big for what you want to do with the motor, basically you are just going to sacrafice TQ for a very few peak HP if any at all.
