Yeah your old Endure-X have a slot for the oil to the bearings the new ones are pressure fed thru a hole just like the Crower HIPPO's that with all the other changes was a good upgrade to the whole lifter line.

correct, but do the 888-16's have a slot and a hole? keep your mind out of the gutter on that one! The only reason i am asking is because there is a price difference between the 888-16's and the other two sets.

No everything now is converted to the hole oiling. It might allow more oil in for lower pressure lower RPM operation.
