So what do you guys think?

Hey, new here only a couple posts. I'm supposed to go to Florida this Tuesday to pick up my 1st Camaro. Its a 1994 Z28 with a 6 speed.

-New six speed transmission
-Rear end just rebuilt
-Headers
-Flowmaster Exhaust
-Aluminum Valve covers
-Less than 2000 miles on new tires and wheels
-White with black t-tops
-134000 miles

The guy was asking 3895 for it. I live in Texas so I told him I wanted it. I put a $200 deposit on my CC so he would hold it. You guys think I should try to get the price down once I get there? -AZ28

Wow...never seen a Z for that cheap. Although it does have 134000 miles on it. I think I would buy it for that price, but make sure you at least try to talk him down . Its always sketchy when you are buying a modded car, be very careful.

That seems like a pretty reasonable price. It has high miles though, thats the only downside.

Thanks for the advice. I figured since the trans and rear are in good shape, I would just rebuild the engine when the time comes. Probably sooner though, everytime I buy a car I just start doing everthing I can to make it faster. My father owns Precision Engine Service here in Austin and he has 350 parts galore. I'm sure he'll either give me a lot of stuff or charge me very little. He actually builds racing engines so I'm sure my little 350 won't be too hard for him. -AZ28

Thats a pretty good price my dad runs a dealership and when my car came in i knew i had to have it we only gave around 3k for it. All my friends are always asking how much did we give for it they are like 6k 7k i just laugh and never tell them. It's in mint condition so they think we must've paid a crap load o what little do they know
