so much maintnence needed!!!
so much maintnence needed!!!
alright summer/spring is approaching and its almost time for my ride to be a daily driver again! but it really needs some maintnence. i just have a few questions
- coolant system flush:
is it hard to do?
where is the coolant drain for the block located?
difficult to get to?
- tranny service
what tool do you use to get the plug out?
how do u go about refilling trans fluid
- rear end fluid change
is it hard to do?
what tool AND parts will i need?
how long does it take?
how do u get new fluid back in housing?

Coolant system flush
I've never changed the fluid in my rear or transmission yet. But I've heard that the easiest way to do it is to get a little hand-held pump that screws on to the top of the fluid bottle. I imagine it would also be helpfull in pumping the fluid out of the tranny/rear.
I'm sure if you do a search for it, you'll find all sorts of input.
