So i wanna do a tune-up...getting started?

I want to replace the plugs, wires, trans filter, and o2s. Car has 56K. I am going to get bosch plugs (The 1.99 platinums, not the +2 or +4 crap) and was wondering about which wires. Want something that requires no modifications, like 8mm and larger wires do. I cant find the stock wire set part number, and dont know about those AZ and Advanceauto sets, look shady to me.

I want to do these in my driveway, but all i have is rhino ramps. I have a friend with a lift (like the ones at a big auto place) but i dont want to have to drive it out there and let it cool for a day so i can work on it.

I have read many posts, and did a few searches, but cant decide on the wires I bought gtx dexron III mercon fluid, but i read somewhere that it has to be dexron III mercon III? Is that just a typo or something? it non-synthetic too. The trans was flushed at 37K miles so i should be ok changing the fluid without it needing a rebuild or anything right? I have read alot of horror stories.

BTW i have already done the fuel filter, diff fluid, and had a coolant flush done a while ago.

Go to your friends lift. Drink 3.2 beers and the car should be cool enough by then. You will wish you had if you don't. It's going to take you 2 days in your driveway if you never done it before.

Stock manifolds + first time = more curse words than you have said in entire life.

Anyways, i reccommend the accel 9000, or 300+ . Thats what i run now. Started with taylors and had issues with a few sets. None with accel.

When i had stock manifolds i had advanced auto parts order me some plug wires. They got the Accel wires for like 60 bucks and they are the race ones that are 8mm! Very pleased with the wires. As far as plugs go---stay away from bosch---try some AC delco's or NGK's. Or you could do the ol' fashion Autolites!
