I dont even like to think about changin the plugs. Thank GOD i have headers. Makes it a bit easier. Seriously, when i changed the plugs in my car with stock manifolds, i wanted to drive it over the Mississippi River Bridge. Im not joking.lol. Only thing that stopped me from doin it was that one side of my plugs were out.lol. I really felt like the car was a person who was being a jackass, and i kept thinkin of destructive things i could do to it. The meeting the GM engineer quote. yeah that one too. Jesus man i dont even like thinking about it. I say buy headers and get it over with. Not long after i did my plugs, i got headers. Had wished i did it sooner.
Peace
Omar

I changed my plugs a few times when I had the LT-1 and they were a long ordeal.

Once I had my girlfriend get to a couple because she has smaller hands/arms. I had to take her to dinner for it. Maybe you can make the same deal with yours?

That are not all that bad. I would NOT pay someone to change them. It usually takes shops a very long time to do them unless it is a shop that works on a lot of LT1’s. I’ve seen people pay $300-$500 for a spark plug change.

I think the reason people complain about plugs so much is because they just assume it’s going to be easy.

Routing the wires behind the steering pump was probably the hardest part. The Taylor wires I got did not want to snap into the factory wire guides.

If you take the y-pipe off, most of the plugs are easy to get from the bottom.

If my fat hairy *** can get in there without removing anything then anyone can do it.
You will be cut, bruised, and swollen.
You will cuss like a sailor or your not human.
You can do it yourself just don,t let it beat you.
It took me 2 days the very first time I did it.
