its the bolt that holds the abs block down. sorta down by where the CAI would go. you have to take it out so you can move the block, then put the CAI in and move the block back in place (and be sure to bolt it back down.)

IF you had the instructions you would see where it says "Unbolt the Radiator support and pull the radiator forward to install CAI"

The GMPP CAI was my first and I now have a SLP(same just black).

You get used to it

I have also had both, just went the other way. From SLP to a polished GM one.
The directions indeed say unbolt the rad. support The whole design ( as for taking it in and out and getting to the filters) of the CAI suck but it is one of the best for HP increases. Mine is up for sale though along with the polished Vortec elbow. I just bought a super charger.

yeah its a pain in the *** to put in but Ive done it like 20 times now , dont even have to unbolt the radiator support , just grab it and pull it toward the front while you use your other arm to jam it down in there. Although I will admit the first time I took it out and put it back in me and my dad were both tugging and pushing trying to figure out how the hell to get the thing back in there hehe. Now I can do it myself in like 5 mins. Oh yeah and when ya go to put the elbow back on just take the hoseclamp off (throttle body end) , it makes it easier to slip the bottom over and then just slide the hose clamp under and around it . Hope this helps lol.
