Snapped a cradle bolt...
Well i snapped one of the cradle bolts when i was putting my motor and trans in. Ive been driving with it like that for afew months now and have been worrying about it ever since. Im wondering what you guys would do in this situation. Either drill it out or weld it. Chances are im going to pull the motor again from the bottom(because its so much fun!
) So i dont know about welding it, unless it would come off easy when all the bolts are removed and im pulling the body up. Thanks for any advise.

Re: Snapped a cradle bolt...
You did what? You mean one of the 6 bolts that holds the cradle to the car frame? That can't be good at all. Which one did you break? Is the bolt thats broken still in there?
I could not drive the car around knowing that one of the bolts were not there at all. I would take the time and try to get it out. The front two has a plate that slides into the frame that has a nut that's welded on them. If the bolt broke clean there you might be able to slide that out, but than again you have to drop the cradle to get slide the plate out, maybe. Not to sure an easy out could reach that far up into the frame or not might have to get an extension of some type.
My cradle is still in the car minus the motor if you need any pics / dimensions or anything let me know.
