ok i just went for a quick run behind my house...its a qrt mile and i always do this to see what i get to, and i hit around 110mph..
but to get to the point a while back i side checked a concret median to where i had to repalce my rear passenger side axel and put in new 3.73 gears...well n e wayz after this run i got home and started to see smoke comming from that passenger side tire or side....but it didnt smelt like burnt rubber, i did power brake but would that cause smoke to come out like that? and it was smoking for a bit, but im thinking my axel seals are loose and its leaking out smoke from the diff?
what could this be...and it isnt comming from the other side just the passenger side....

No matter how hard you drive or break, there is no smoke in the differential. The smoke you saw could have been any moisture you drove over splashing up on the hot brakes. Could also be a stuck brake cylinder/caliper causing the brakes to be partially engaged even when the pedal is not depressed.

Can I make a suggestion. Stop doing these 1/4mile blasts your talking about. Seems they cause you more grief than anything. Besides, once you do it, what does it prove by doing it again?

i do the qrt mile runs every time i add a mod to my run...before my car was modded i ran and ran around a 98-100 now im up to 110, so it shows me how much i have gained and there are no cars back there so i always do it..maybe like 10 cars pass a day....
im thinking it was my brake, but why would it only come out onthe passenger side?

If you hit the curb hard enough to damage the axle and gears, is it possible you bent the panhard rod, and the inside of the tire is rubbing on something? Did you check the alignment of the body over the rear axle after the impact?

When I blew my rear pinion seal my car smoked for about an hour.

The gear oil was burning off the exhaust pipes. It has a very particular smell to it.
