i live in CA,i got 95z A4,i just want to know if there is anyone out there in CA with a cam,that passes smog and if so what size is it?

 

I know from my own experiences that LPE makes 2 cams for LT1s that passed MDs tough emissions and are supposed to be 50 state smog legal...211/219 @ .050 with .533/.560 lift on a 112 and 219/219 .560/.560 also on a 112...I had the 211/219 in my 383 for 10 years running 11s and passing emissions. All of LPEs street stuff has to pass emissions. Most will say the 211/219 is too small for a 350 let alone a 383, but I think its a great street/strip cam and have the timeslips and emissions papers to prove it...There are other cams that will pass, but I only have experiences with LPE...

comp cams makes the biggest street legal cam i think its a 224/230 112lsa but you could have them grind it to 114 lsa call comp cams in vegas and ask for dave>!>im sure his gonna say that for sure the biggest cam you could run with with lots of horse gain but needs a really good tuning for it to pass smog?lots of good tuning shop in sacramento!?!?

 

If you talk to LE I am sure you can get one of his packages to pass emissions.
