Smelling Coolant (still)

I've been smelling coolant since I replaced my WP over the winter...I thought it was the thermostat housing gasket (Autozone gave me the wrong one (suprise suprise). Changed that out last month, but I'm still getting a whiff of antifreeze from the engine after it shuts down. I DID spill some under the hood, but I figured that would have evaporated by now. The coolant level hasn't budged for 6 months, I check it every week. Oil change last week came out clean...no signs of coolant in the oil. Hoses look OK as far as I can tell, and there are no visible leaks.

Any Ideas?

Check your passenger side floorboard. I used to get a little scent of coolant every now and then and then all of the sudden the heater core failed and I had a green pool at my passengers feet.

Agreed, the heater core could be the issue. Do you happen to have any odd condensation building up on your windshield upon start up or anything like that? Another sign of heater core failure.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Not getting any condensation or coolant smell in the car though, but definitely worth a check.

Thanks
