why do i start to smell gas in my car at those speeds and over?

it only started to happen when i took out my sending unit for the fuel pump, and i replaced everythig back eveeen the O ring gasket!!

please help me!!

Ive got a gas smell around my car when it sets still or at low speeds, ever since I dropped the tank to replace the pump. I donno if I got a vent line in the wrong spot or what. Anyone got any ideas?

 

Sounds like you both have an issue with vapor canister in the rear driver side wheel well. When I sumped my tank, I removed mine and did away with the lines and all. What a mistake. The car constantly smells. check your vacuum level to see what it is.
