small oil leak and i think tranny leak!!!

ok, well i started to notice alot of oil runing down my starter and on the back of my ac compressor, and run all down the tranny pan...it usually drops a few drops on the ground.....

Now on the tranny i see purple liquid right at the tip of it behind the tranny mount!!!

I check my fluid every 2 weeks to be sure its ok, but is this bad at all?

Im thinking it may be the dip stick tube causing the oil to come out bc i do nOT have it bolted down cause of the LT headers!!!

please let me know ASAP!!!

Thanks

Randy

I am going to say you have two leaks. The first is most likely the intake manifold leak, which is leaving the oil on your starter. Since you say your dipstick isn't bolted down right, you may have answered your own question. Those are just guesses.....

Check the tailshaft on the transmission for cracks or other damage. Clean up the area as well as you can with carb cleaner, then check again in a day or two to see where its coming from.
