Talking SLP vs. KB. Sub Frame Connectors

I'v got to tell you that I stop today to look and compare the SLP to the Kenny Brown SFC. at ls1speed here in ILL. and ..........WOW......... what a big differance the slp sfc's are. not to ruffle any feathers out there for the guys that have KB, but the slp are massive and and constucted much better than the kb.
I had them installed today and what a nice feel from the car very tight, i still do get a feel rattkes but there more from the underside, sqeaking and high pitch rattles from the rear windows and fenders no longer exist. very pleased with them.
just wanted to let you know from first hand expeirence.

I have a set of the SLP type and really like them. And alway's recommend them to anyone that asks. I also agree that they are very well built.

Ditto...

My t-top and hatch squeaks went away completely. Aside from that, I now have a nice, long 3' section of solid area on each side of the car to put my floor jack under and lift the car...

Thumbs up, here!

How much did they charge you to put those SFC's in? And did you get the weld in or the bolt in?

I had them welded in, from what i've read on different boards, bolting them in is a waste of time.

they charged me $65.00 for the set to weld them in.

No ruffles here.
I have the KBs and they worked out great.
I would imagine they are a tad bit lighter than the SLPs and the KBs are still overkill.
