SLP Take-Off Shocks

Are the take-off shocks from SLP any good. My 97 Formula shocks are shot and need to upgrade them for cheap. Am putting in eibach Pro-Kit springs. Is this worth it or what?

Cool

Works for me.Just did mine with the springs a few months ago,and I noticed a big difference.About 80 bones for shocks and springs,250 for the install, and alignment.Rides new again.My02

Cool

Also the shocks seem to be wider as well.

yeah take offs are just that, they run them for alittle while and take them off.

I'd get them, cheap cheap cheap.

also, watch out sometimes they don't come with everything to install themn. bushing etc etc.

so, you may need to buy some After market bushings and what not. Mine came ready to get put in.

All they are are the stock shocks and springs that they removed from all the brand new Z28's and Trans Am's to make them into SS's and WS6's. They are the same shocks and springs your car probably has only these have about 5 miles or less on them. Same thing with the takeoff 16" firebird wheels & tires they sell.

So do you want to "upgrade", like you said, or replace? If you just want to replace, get the take-off's.
