SLP STB Install problem
SLP STB Install problem
Well after wrestling the STB around the brake lines I move to the passenger side and see that theres some type of A/C sensor in the way. SO I unclick the connector, remove the sensor, and install the STB over the mounting bolts.
The problem lies in the fact that I cannot re-thread the sensor back on. There is no room for it as the STB is in the way. Not to mention that the STB rubs on the thicker A/C metal line when its torqued down. I can't beleive an SLP part has such bad fit.
This didnt appear in the instructions and I couldnt find reference to it in any posts I searched. AM I missing something here?
Help is appreciated

All STB's have this problem. I simply unplug the A/C pressure sensor, loosen up the bracket on the A/C evaporator canister, and gently push on the A/C lines until you have the clearance. I've always installed mine on the passenger side first which might help you out.

Where exactly is this brakcet? Is it the black one that encircles the canister? Its only got one bolt? Is that it?
