SLP shorties guys....

I just threw in my motor today and bolted up my shorties. It doesn't look like it matches up with my stock exhaust. Did anyone have the same problem. I think I'm gonna have to get some custom exhaust because it doesn't look like the exhaust works with the canton oil pan.

It should match up just fine unless you got the single cat slp shorties and you're still running the dual cat y pipe.

Nop got the dual cat ones. I'm still gonna have to get some custom pipes thought I think because of the Canton Oil Pan.

In a normal situation, the slp pipes line up just fine. I just left everything a little loose until all bolts were threaded in, then tightened everything up. Good luck

Even with my single cat setup the pipes didn't fit exactly. I had to do a little "persuading"

if i go with the SLP shorties and keep my cats and loudmouth catback..will the car be unbearable or better sounding than the stock exhaust manifolds, cats, and loudmouth catback...will it get much louder and will i see any worth while gain?

Yeah you'll see some gains. From the research I did, SLP has one of the best shorties around.

As far as "unbearable"..... if you still got your cats like you say it will never be that unbearable. If it is you might as well get a ricer.

You said you have the dual cat Macs? How do you like them? Do you have any dyno results or track times or anything like that? Thanks for your help.
