SLP SFC not lining up properly???

I'm getting my SLP SFC (the double diamond ones) installed, and they dont clear the exhaust properly, and the holes that are drilled in it dont line up properly.

Why is this?
shouldnt it jsut line up and fit no problems asked?

Mine went on with out any clearance issues. The only thing that had to be adjusted was a plastic clip that holds the brake and fuel lines against the body. Just drilled a new hole for the screw and relocated the bracket so the SFC wouldn't rub. As for the exhaust interference you'll have to be more specific. Sometimes the holes have to widened a tad to line up.

How badly do they miss the holes? If there off by say inches than call SLP and get a new set shipped and or a refund.

Possibly your unibody is bent a bit. The exhaust might rub but that can be adjusted. You mmight need to drillout the holes a bit .
I used stronger bolts and better washers. It will tighten everything up real good.

well it was only off by a little bit with the holes... what are the holes for anyways???

and the pass side front corner had to be trimmed to clear the SLP 3" exhaust.

other then that it went in really good, on the drivers side one of hte triangle thinner parts is kinda toutching the underside of the car, but I think its allright.

I do have to say WOW, I wish I had these in befor. The car feels so much more solid, and corners better, and even seems to have better traction.

A must mod for anyone.

take it to a body shop..for about 75 bucks they can weld them on and straighten your frame. plus if they have any extra paint, they can spray them for another 25.
