I agree 100%. Sounds like a pick-up truck with straight pipes to me. Just loud crappy noise.

Oh well, you get what you pay for with the LM in terms of sound(no muffler = very unrefined sound).

If you got the $$$, get the GMMG without a doubt. I have it on my car and the sound at WOT is as muscular as it gets for any cat-back system.

DAMN!!! I just listened to the exhaust clip of that 435 horse T/A on the GMMG site. They just sold me with that clip. Can I get it anywhere for $600?

Just buy the loud mouth and replace the resonator w/ one of those chambered mufflers gmmg has.Same sound but way cheaper.

Ditto. Was just reading the thread and thinking this, but you beat me to it. You can get them either from Sweet Thunder or Stainless Works. Should be the best of both worlds.

If you're worried about loudness, you could just put a piece of straight pipe where the resonator was, and then have a chambered muffler behind each tailpipe. Or, for even quieter, put a chambered muffler where the resonator was in addition to one behind each tailpipe. Should still work out to be cheaper.
