SLP Loudmouth Exhaust system question

I just ordered a SLP Loudmouth Exhaust system. And I am putting it on a 1996 Camaro Z28. The kit that I got says its for a 1998-2000 LS1 Camaro/Firebird. I emailed the place where I got it from and they said there is only one kind of Loudmouth and the 98-00 LS1 kit would work on my 96 Camaro Z.

Is he right?

Thanks

Yes, the one you got is correct but, you have to get the installation kit for the 97 and older cars. The place you emailed should have told you that.

You dont need an install kit if you have dual cats, it just slips on.
Also you will need to bend the passenger side tailpipe bracket. trust me my 95 with dual cats did not need an "install kit"
