Any body ever pass inspection in NJ with this. I have installed a SLP Loudmouth cat-back on my 94 Camaro and failed inspection. Just wondering if there is a muffler I can put in in place of the resinator just until I pass inspection. They failed it because it was to loud and had no muffler. That is after they floored it more than a few times cause they liked the sound.

 

Before temporarily cutting up my $300 exhaust to pass emmisions, I would try another shop.

If all fails, you can put any 3 inch muffler that will fit into your exhaust system. Flowmaster/dynomax/magnaflow etc, as long as you measure the space you have to work with, you can weld and fit in whatever you want.

If I were you I'd weld in a dynomax muffler.
