i was thinking of adding lt headers to my slp lm, but i heard that with lts and no cat will sound like crap, i actually like extremely loud exhausts but im not sure if it will soudn liek crap without the cat or should i just use a catco or carsound hi flow cat? emmissions dont matter i just want to know if it relaly sounds like crpa if i had no cat instead?

SLP LM, I believe, was designed for otherwise stock exhausts....look into replacing their resonator. I like my LTs with no cats thru the flowmaster, or cutout -- so I do like loud. I have heard LM w/o cats and LTs, and I personally didn't like it. You could always give it a try, and if you dislike it either throw some cats on, ditch their resonator for a bullet, or both...

heard alot of guys say the LM sounds like **** on LT1's w/ LTs, I never heard it so I wouldnt know

 

i have mac mids, no cat, and slp LM and its a sweet sweet sound. i dont know how it would sound with lts though

I have jet hot long tubes, 3" hooker y-pipe (no cats), and an SLP loudmouth. Its loud and I love it!
