SLP intake and vortech elbow...

Anyone have any amazing tips or tricks to get the vortech elbow ring on an SLP intake for a '93? I've tried boiling water, vasaline, screw driver, etc...

Any tips?

Are you talking about sliding it into the rubber connector? If so, dish washing liquid and a little water does good where rubber is involved.
