want to buy slp headers for my 95 camaro Z28 single cat. can anyone tell me if it is really necessary to buy the slp installation kit to function correctly, or can i buy the gaskets, bolts, etc seperate?

 

I just installed slp headers on my 95 firehawk and used the kit that came with it. I would recommend using the kit. I have no leaks and the extra parts like the sheathing to protect those spark plug wires really helps. You could use other gaskets but may have problems down the road.

 

I'm pretty sure you need the kit due to the EGR extension they have with it. You can't buy that anyplace else.
