this is on my 97 Z and the headers(93 Style SLP) are unbolted but not coming out...I need to get the linkage out on the drivers side which is mad hard cause when i turn the bolt the whole linkage moves...pass side is not coming out either...Alternator is out all spark plugs and wires and the y-pipe is out(which is for sale)....I need help.!!!!!!!

 

When I put SLP om my 94, I had to take out motor mount bolts, tranny crossmember bolt, and maybe starter, and jack up engine a couple inches, no problem.

 

hey guys,not trying to hijack but i was just wondering what are the differences between the 93 headers and the 94-95 headers,and would 93's work on a 94 without much modification or would it not be worth while if i found a cheap set used? Z28 97 do you plan on sellings yours,and if so how much,are they ceramic coated or not and arent they stainless if i remember correctly,i'm going to do headers here shortly and i'd like to do longtubes but i'm worried about the ground clearance issues and the pain it'll be to install so i'm thinking about going with the SLP's b/c they have the 1 3/4 primaries and the 3 inch collector so i dont think there'll be too much difference compared to longtubes but if i cant find a set for a decent price and i have to spend the money i'll just go with pacesetter longtubes,sorry for rambling,thanks!

 

Im pretty sure they fit any LT1...Im actually takin them off my 97Z so I assume they would fit....And yes they are up for sale...250 shipped...Let me Know....
