im installing the slp headers right now and i got them in and putting stuff back toghter. in the install kit there were 2 160 degree rubber hoses for the air tubes.

The only way i can get the new hoses to work is to screw the round black check valves right on to the header then use the the 160d degree hose to connect to the air pipe.

it seems to eleminate the factory metal tubes that connect the check valve to the exhaust manafold. then the new ruber hoses were too big to fit on the air pipe and i had to use hose clamps to squeeze the new hose on.

Im just wondering if this is Right??? the instructions are really not clear about this part
