SLP header install question

I installed SLP single cat headers. The AIR fitting that came out of the stock exhaust manifolds is male. The fitting on the SLP headers is also male. How are the check valves supposed to fit on the headers? Anyone got a picture?

Everything is running fine right now, since we just threaded a pipe cap over the fitting for the AIR on the header. But, one day I will have to smog it, and I will have to have those things on there, even if the AIR pump is disabled. It's all about looks with smog. If it looks legit, that's half the battle.

Thanks,

BRAD

i am just wondering shouldn't you be more worried about passing the 230/236 in cali. then the air system. If you get it to pass please let me know. We don't have emissions in kansas yet but that doesn't mean we won't get them.

I will probably have to use "alternate means" to pass the smog check. But visually, I'd like it to look legal.

Did you get their installation kit? I think it comes with some flexible hoses that you just hose clamp on.

I capped mine. I have another full year till inspection, but then i'll probably be fugged and have to rig it on.

I did get the install kit. Where the stock fittings screw into the stock manifolds, the fitting is male. So is the pipe sticking out of the headers. How do I connect the two? Do I use the whole thing that came out of the manifold, or do I just use the check valve? If someone can take a picture of their install, I'd appreciate it.

i know their both male, i'm saying that SLP intends you to just clamp a hose onto both sets of threads. Your not going to find something with the ~21mm threads on one end and 3/4" pipe thread or whatever it is on the other end.

those bent hoses on the far right.

Someone step in a holler if i'm wrong here.

What did you do with your egr?
